ROS Automotive Engineer

Autobrain’s Perception Fields team is looking to hire a ROS Automotive Engineer to aid in building a ROS-based automotive simulation environment that can be used in a reinforcement learning framework. Tasks involve building specific simulation scenarios in ROS visualizers and/or simulators such as Gazebo, including vehicle actuators and dynamics, and interfacing with Python reinforcement learning packages such as the Gym toolkit.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc or MSc in relevant discipline (e.g., ME/EE/CS/etc.) or equivalently impressive work experience
  • At least one year of experience in ROS from the field of automotive or robotics
  • Full Proficiency in English
  • Experience with reinforcement learning – advantage
